I am a new mom and I love these gowns. My baby's body and feet stay warm without the snaps of footie pajamas. This is great during night diaper changes, try to align snaps in the dark with one hour of sleep under your belt and you'll know what I mean. With these gowns you simply hike it up, change baby, and get back to it. The hand guards are very nice too so your little one can't scratch her face. Th snaps are better than a split-neck for getting over baby's head in a hurry without worry about that wobbly new born neck. I ordered several sets and these are all my new baby wears! Be aware that you'll need to put socks on your little one when traveling in a car seat due to having to pull the gown up for the center buckle. Also, when she starts crawling these will be for sleeping only, but snaps are easier in the daylight :) -- WONDERFUL!!!

My mom ordered these for me before I had my baby, and I was also given a pair of the Carter's gowns. These have two snaps in front that don't lay flush, but I would rather have that than the huge head opening of the Carter's gowns. I have a 7 lb baby and she wiggled both arms out the head hole of the Carter's one at a few days old. She will grow into them, but for a small or newborn baby, these are the way to go! -- The only ones that fit!
The gowns are made of nice cotton. There are 2 snaps on the front of gowns that aren't flush. When snapped, they leave an open loop on my daughters chest. Not real happy with that. -- disappointed
