When i first receive it i thought was only for my kid to sleep but she liked it a lot, when she saw it the first thing that did was enter to it, after 2 mins, that was her bunker, she ran through the entire house and jumped to the peapod like a pool, the first times we where worried for her to be harmed but nothing happened at all.
She loves to sleep there and a terrific alternative for traveling light.
I already ordered 2 more for gifts. -- awesome
Bought 2 of these for my 6 month old twins after reading that reviews of other travel beds were outgrown too quickly. These beds are very roomy but still very portable. I think they will fit in them well into their toddler years! They easily fit in a suitcase. The air mattresses provide a great cushion for sleeping. The only cons are the fabric on the mattress cover is nylon- my babies were pretty sweaty by the morning. And the mattress isn't super tight fitting, so there is some potential for them to roll into the side. But my babies are pretty sound sleepers, so we didn't have that problem. Overall, a great solution for traveling! -- roomy and comfortable
I bought these because my 6 month olds were going to go on a two week trip to see family. I wanted them to be able to associate their tents to sleep time similarly to their crib while away. It took a little time for them to get used to it, but they have done well with them. I rig it so that the air mattress are on top of the tent floor (not inside the pocket intended by design) and lay a folded afghan on top of them and a fitted sheet over these items so that it creates the same feel as their crib mattress. It does get stuffy in there, so if you aren't at a home with a temp under 71 or 72 you will definitely want to have good air circulation in the same room (space fans and overhead fans). The girls do move and get off the mattress from time to time and will be caught between the edge of the mattress and the tent wall, which upset them when they were not as mobile and trying to get settled for the night, but now that they are a little more used to the tents as cribs and they are older, they don't get as bent out of shape about it. There could be better ways to rig it, but I will have to let others that are more resourceful figure that out. -- Great for travel
This bed is exactly as advertised, and has been so portable - much easier than our pack and play to take around to different places. We even used it in the park. Small and light - just great! -- Perfectly portable
We love the Peapod! When planning a trip by air, we were dreading taking a pack n play or buying one at our destination. I had heard of this, and looked into it further. We decided to go for it. In person, it is amazing how small and light the Peapod is when packed. We traveled with an extra-large and large suitcase with two adults and a baby for 5 days, and it fit just fine with all of our clothes and other baby paraphernalia.

The Peapod is super easy to set up, it even comes with a hand pump to inflate the mattress, which takes a couple of minutes. One thing we discovered when sleeping in the same room as the baby--the air mattress is LOUD when she rolls around on it! I'm experimenting with using other types of cushions.

Watch out for how fast it opens (as other reviewers have mentioned, although I don't think this warrants a 1-star review) and its size. It is for babies up to one year. My daughter is 10 months old and in the 75th percentile for height and weight, and I think she probably will outgrow it in a few months.

I will recommend this to all of my friends who travel. Buy this when baby is newborn and all you use the pack n play for is a portable bed. Then you can buy a pack n play when baby is 8 mos or so and needs somewhere safe to play. -- Good bye, Pack n Play!
